THE STORY
WHY I DO WHAT I DO!
I grew up in a small town in northwest Kansas. In high school I discovered a love for writing and design work. I was on the yearbook and photography staff. I received a scholarship to attend Pratt County Community College for journalism and photography. After a life changing event, I moved back home and met my future husband. We moved to Salina in 1998 and have been here ever since. In 2000 we were married.
I fell in love with crafting shortly after we were married. I mainly did scrapbooking until our 2nd child was born. Once I had 4 kids under the age of 6, my spare time was filled with kids activities.
Our 4 kids are growing up so fast! Gabriel is now 14 and headed into high school. Gage is 11 and headed to middle school. Grayson is 9 and Galadriel 8. Now that our kids are older, it's given me the opportunity to expand my crafting. I invested in a couple pieces of equipment to enjoy for my personal fun. After a few months people started requesting I make them items as well. I decided to go for it and branch out to my own business. Every business needs a catchy name, right?!?! The name actually came to me quite quickly. Cherry is for Kyle's mom who passed away in 2016. Lynn for my mom's middle name, who passed away in 1997. Grace is the name we gave our 1st baby that we lost, and that's how CherryLynnGrace Creations started.
Three years later, I love what I'm doing! I love being able to take an idea and turn it into a creation! It gives me so much joy to see the reactions of customers when they receive their orders!
